Limp Mode
« on: 26 August 2011, 16:39 »
searched the forum but nothing like my issue coming up

turn the engine off for 5 mins and it runs fine, yet after 5 mins of driving the car then limits to 4800 RPM and it is a right biatch to build speed up in it, it jumped into limp mode as i was about to go on the motorway and took 4 mins to get up to 70

i've got a rattle that started this morning from the exhaust (possibly cat)

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

we had the same problem and spent loads on it but in the end it turned out to be the lamda sensor. try that first.
