I have exactly the same sound but I thought my coilover just needed greasing between the coil and helper spring. But if you have it aswell without coilys maybe I'm wrong with mine then.

After doing this I came to the conclusion the gearbox was knocking at low speeds.  :undecided:

Where all my moneys went.

its deffinatly not my gearbox, i did think this but on investigation its deffinatly coming romthe wheels/suspension. it does it if I rock the front even with the engine off, I think next thing to try is a new ARB.

It could even be something to do with the brakes. it does seem to be a bit better after changing the wishbones, balljoints and top mounts so could be a combination of things

check your arb mounts. in fact check all the rubber bushings, good chance one is fcuked.

also get a friend to rock the car while you hunt done where the sound is coming from. bonnet up obviously
