A CC for alloys and coilovers? Surely a fundamental flaw?

i increased my overdradft and bought them with that and bought a camera as well, but it put me right in the sh!t! just about clawing my way out now. seemed like a good idea at the time!

my advice, just save dude!!! as hard as it is better than getting yourself in the sh!t, im talking from experience here

and once you have a CC im sure you will just end up using it again even if you dont think you will temptation is there!

Says the man thinking of getting finance on a rep mobile!

I'm intrigued. That's a significant payrise for someone who can't spell or make use of grammer.

My advice - a credit card should only be used for purchases you can afford to pay off today or in the short term, i.e. a few weeks to a few months. Otherwise save up for it or go without.

I've just applied and been approved for a new credit card. My current one is costing me interest which I could do without for now, so managed to get a Halifax Card with 17 months interest free balance transfer. I'll be chopping up the old one (along with canceling it) and will be storing the new one out of reach and will pay it off when I have a chance.

I think credit cards are brilliant (even though I am having problems at the moment) but it's about learning how to use them. Like has been said, do not spend what you can't afford.
