Advice on coil fitting, 16v model

Afternoon all

Any tips on fitting an ignition coil... What to watch out for and what not to do's :rolleyes:

Disconnect the battery!

Then just pull of the spade connectors + HT Lead (remember where they go)

Undo the mount. Then fit the new one.

Simples.

If you don't have a Haynes manual there's a PDF one in the maintenance section ^.

If your a bit unsure (its really a simple job) have a look in the section covering ignition.  Theres a diagram for you to follow.

Fitted coil, still sparking near king lead, thinking king lead is eeeerm knackered...
Change that tomorrow and see where we go from there...
