Nice work mate good to see a propper DIY project  :wink: what sort of compressor set up have you got? and what paint was you using

we had a 50L 3 hp fox vtwin for the compresser and some hard wearing ford st white 2k paint and fast air dry hardener a gazebo and some tarpauling used all the proper stuff minus the gazebo lol :D oh well didnt get that many contaminations apart from silicone contamination which was my fault :( wooopppssss :( she looks alright though :D

as for changing the engine i think i may leave the 1.8 lump in there for now purely as the insurance will shoot right up but give it time :D

planning on giving her another polish tomorrow with some real course cutting compound and some proper polish as you can kind of see where i have flatted it back at the right angle but hey ho :D and i am spraying a few things black not too sure on what yet though ... splitter ... maybe side skirts as they are primer grey may be the whhels too for the time being i am not sure .. :/

Lol it looks alot better then hand canned etc IMO think its a good job tbh  :smiley:

Looks good, only real let down (as you say) is the wheels :)

Also not sure on the colour coded front/rear splitters, but each to their own!
