depending who you work for,they might have a deal with halfords where you buy a bike,up to £500 and pay weekly/monthly straight from yer wages,used to be done pre tax but labour soon knocked that on the head (used to be a similar thing which let you buy a p.c).at least Royal mail does,but im sure other employeers do it,was meant to save the planet and all that
by the way,i cycle 2 1/2 miles each way to work each day,and you do so at your own risk,75% of road users are total kants towards cyclists,so ride aggressively and up the life insurance mate!!
