Sorry Guys - Cheap attempt to gain attention!
I have a 1990 16v with a suspension kit ( I don't know the make but it cost several hundreds of pounds from Bedrock Veedub about 3 years ago.)
It is lower than standard and I suspect that the shockers are shorter. The rear rattles and is most annoying. I posted recently that the little washers that sit above the main upper bush had stress fractured allowing one shocker to pop through into the boot. I have now relaced both sides and it still rattles and its driving me crazy. The problem seems to be that the theaded portion of the shocker insert does not protrude enough for me to get the final nut on after the top bush is fitted. Rather than a flat main top washer, the kit appears to have a bucket washer, but the only way that I can get it all together is to turn the upper top bush upside down so that it is the ridged rather than plain side pointing upwards (sh!t description, I know). Please help as it is almost ruining my enjoyment of an otherwise lovely Oak Green Mk 2.
Thanks for any help pervs!
