Well the G6 Plate might come in usefull, just will have the wrong year of make on the MOT I guess!!

No cat on a K reg...............hmmm, could be pushing your luck there :undecided: H reg you'll get away with it but no later

i got no cat and mine is j plate

Yeah, I take that statement back........ must admit I had thought that H plate was the last to get away without a cat but it now looks like the cut off was J plate so early J's may not have one fitted, but late J's will need one.

To clear it up.

The catalyst test is part of the MOT test for most class IV spark ignition petrol engined passenger cars with four or more wheels first used on and after 1 August 1992.

In that case I guess the catalyst test was from K reg then.

mine is a early feb 1992 j plater and i got no cat, must have been after that that they were required  :undecided:
