get some pics up mate :)

i don't know much about colour concepts apart from that they came in funky colors..
if all the docs and your v5 really do say 16v and its not one i'd really look into that!

Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

Hmmm,

When you put it like that it is slightly disconcerting....

Im expecting a call any minute from Awesome GTi - Hopefully they can explain.

The CConcept's really did have some funky colours - Thank God i found a black one!

The Alloys are in a pretty bad state - I prob need sum new BBS rims - Whats the max size i can get away with? i was thinking 16's but i dont wana mess with lowering/shocks/suspension jargon - would it be fine just to lump them on?

did CC's really come in black?  seems a weird thing to have as a concept colour when it was available in that colour anyways..

you know which black your car is? i think there were 2 or 3 variants.. theres a shiny black normally called "diamond black" and theres a metallic black called "black magic" (which is what mine is..) i think this was also called "space black" by Seat.

when you get the car back if you look inside the boot under the carpet there will be a white sticker (i put a pic of mine in my gallery) and it lists all the paint codes.. and actually.. it says the engine thats in the car too!

so a pic of that will help a lot!

the stock alloys are 15" ones (the anniversary cars came with 16"s") 17"s go on too as long as its not been lowered too much.

from sounds of it your car could have already been modded..

No white sticker mate - only the spare wheel  :undecided: - could it be anywhere else?

There should be an identical sticker on the first page of the service book.

diamond ' black magic' pearl is all one colour. i think there is only one more black for vw but don't know what it is called. Seat and Audi use mainly same colours they just have different names for them

Yep, AGG = 8v.

Although it could have had a 16v engine put in and the reg details changed accordingly.  Get a pic of your engine up
