Great progress, this will be back together in no time....

Still a fair bit to go, it still needs to be flatted back before it goes to the bodyshop for its top coats in the booth, but at least its got to the point where we are actually putting things back together rather than stripping and rebuilding. It looks loads better off the stands with its wheels on! Its starting and running brilliantly too..

You have made me want to check my pump and accumulator setup again now.... it wasn't looking great the last time i looked if I remember.

Yeah the brackets and stuff do get pretty rusty, I still need to sort out the underneath, its all solid now, nothing a good wire brush and underseal won't sort out..

Good stuff there dude. I can't wait to get mine in the booth.

What colour you going?

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

The alloys are having a refurb, I really think they suit the car so keeping them, got loads of shiny bits to go back on as its rebuilt.

It had a Black leather Corrado interior so that's going back in.

Managed to get the dashboard, dials, switches, and steering wheel back in and connected up this afternoon. Soldered up alot of the wiring loom, getting rid of any dodgy connections as well.

I honestly don't know, I have been buying stuff as I think of it and as I need it so I have been accumulating parts for ages, I bought a new electric window mech for the drivers door about 3 years ago, its still in its packet!!!

I shouldn't be left alone with a computer though, its too easy to buy stuff!
