Yeah ya will have to change accelerator pedal if it doesnt have the mounting for the drive by wire on it which involves removing dash and heater matrix 

Or as was in my case a hacksaw and a lot of brute force  :wink:

I know what you mean but have bought an old banger to do the conversion.
Will see Sat eve when I pick it up if it's a keeper or not, if it's not do the conversion.

eh nope dont have the air conditionin in conversion and never thought of the hacksaw i bet the heater matrix ou of the tdi with a lump hammer before realisin it tokk too bolts to remove it and course yad want to put a tdi in instead of of an 8v for one reason its a big dirty diesaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal  :grin:
