Looks really smart.. Love it... as said before though, just not sure on the badges.  I did the same to mine and hated it.  Must just be me.

cheers guys, badges are definately staying

also found out why she's so rapid, she's got a 2y 16v gearbox, and the shorter ratios really make a difference, especially with all that low end torque

a quick update, had a dodgy connection on the coilpack and the metal plate on the rotor arm was slightly bent so have fitted a new connection and replaced the rotor arm and she's running sweet again now. also replaced the rear exhaust box for a brand new oem one as the old one had rotten through

just bought 10mm high power performance ht leads
a set of ngk iridium plugs
a new rear gearbox mount
and some red hose covers

plan to get them all fitted next week when they arrive, then raise the back end a bit to match the front (it's as low as i dare go at the front) and then next weekend i'm gonna give her 3 runs on a dyno and get a power print out to see what she's producing, exciting times!

sticker bombed my petrol cap :P

just working on some ice atm, fitted front and rear alpines, and mounted my bluetooth headunit in the glovebox, got some vibe rectangular 600w 6x9s running off a vibe 450w amp and a pioneer 700w sub running off a pioneer 400w amp, carpeting the sub box and fininishing the install this weekend :D

just discovered vw heritage... i'm now so tempted to go down a different route looks wise, want you guys input

thinking, chrome trim front and rear bumper, debadged 2 lamp front grille, crystal front lights, chrome door handle inserts, remove arch trims and sill covers, keeping the door trim, chrome rear vw badge and smooth over where the rear golfgti badge is, i think it'd look pretty awesome with the polished pepperpots

Sounds like a grand plan to me man! Can you get crosshair headlights for mk2s like you can for mk1s? I've always loved those!
