The other light:

Hidden intercooler:

I also made more progress with the rub strip, plastic welded all the pieces in the recess:

I then gave it a very generous covering of plastic bumper filler, this stuff remains pretty flexible when set so is perfect for a rub strip:

I'll sand it back tomorrow and see how it looks.

The sealant is called Stixall extreme - it claims that it will stick everything to anything and even works underwater...I figured that would probably do!

Haha, it's always filthy when you see it! Hopefully more changes to come over the winter, toying with a couple of ideas atm :lipsrsealed:

Cheers Wayne!

More rub strip progress today, started sanding the filler down and spotted a problem:

One of the plastic welds clearly wasn't good enough and the vibrations of the sander caused it to crack

So I sanded the rest of it down to make sure the rest were ok, welded that bit again but this time much deeper and hopefully stronger. I gave that bit and a few other bits that weren't quite right another skim of filler, I'm now waiting for it to dry so I can sand it back again.

If it's ok then I'll give it a quick lick of paint to make sure it looks ok and if so hopefully I'll get it in primer this afternoon
