Absolutely mint, not seen many silver 3rd 16v's around. He's got an ABF lump which he's sticking in it over the winter and plans to put a 1.8T in it next year....which reminds me...PM heading your way in a min!

Decided to re-do the badge again so that is currently in primer. Forgot to mention that yesterday I had a perished oil seal on the gearbox replaced which has stopped a moderate leak, the gearbox oil was almost empty :shocked:

This morning I also had 4 new coilpacks courtesy of VW :smug:

Also managed to get a couple of coats of black on the valance, still needs a couple more and then lacquer but here is how it stands at the moment:
