Nah, he wanted £150 for the skirts and I'm moving flat a week today, don't have the cash spare unfortunately

Absolutely mint, not seen many silver 3rd 16v's around. He's got an ABF lump which he's sticking in it over the winter and plans to put a 1.8T in it next year....which reminds me...PM heading your way in a min!

Decided to re-do the badge again so that is currently in primer. Forgot to mention that yesterday I had a perished oil seal on the gearbox replaced which has stopped a moderate leak, the gearbox oil was almost empty

This morning I also had 4 new coilpacks courtesy of VW

Also managed to get a couple of coats of black on the valance, still needs a couple more and then lacquer but here is how it stands at the moment:
