Missed all your updates... shame you've had to hunt down leaks already.... at least you seem to have sorted it now... I think I've found mine............ eveyfeckingwhere!

Well re-sealing the vents did not solve the problem, stripped the rear out again this evening and got the pressure washer on it. Water is p!ssing in through the boot seal along the bottom of the boot, especially the n/s. It looks like the back panel is sitting too far into the boot so the seal isn't being made correctly when the boot is closed

Going to take a sledgehammer to it on Sunday to see if I can knock it back out, got a panel beater mate coming over to help out so hopefully problem will be solved soon

What a pain in the ass!... I have similar issues with mine!..

My day so far has consisted of lots of hammering, swearing and inhaling fumes and the car now stands like this:

The back panel is now sitting where it should and creates a tight seal with the boot lid, the surrounding panels have also been corrected to ensure the n/s light not sits correctly and a few other dents have been pulled out. We then water tested the car to ensure it was watertight, which it appears to be

Every seam which provides the slightest opportunity to allow water through has been coated in a professional grade sealant which is drying as I type. In a few hours this will be painted and the car will be pieced back together.

Fingers crossed it will not be letting any more water in

Ok, so the car is pieced back together with the sealant painted black

I have also removed the front mud flaps and replaced the standard side light bulbs with some bright LED's instead:

What a hell of a job to change some bulbs! Had to remove the bumpers

Also the engine is sounding as rough as a dog

I've uploaded a video here.

Is number 1 the fuel pressure regulator? Number 2 the fuel pressure rail? It seems to be coming from there :undecided:

On the whole it drives ok, idle can be slightly erratic though and power can often surge between 2-3k rpm on half throttle :undecided:
