Hard to tell from video but does not sound right, how does it drive.

On the whole it drives ok, idle can be slightly erratic though and power can often surge between 2-3k rpm on half throttle :undecided:

Have you tried it with the maf unplugged

Not yet, going out to paint my front calipers in a min. Once they've dried i'll go for a spin with the MAF unplugged :smiley:

3 out of 4 calipers are now red :grin:



I found it pretty funny how high I had to jack the car up before the wheel left the ground, with the mk3 on coilovers wound down there was about 2 inches of arch gap with the wheel in the air :grin:

Unfortunately it's my parents and I'm moving away after the bank holiday so will be driveway spannering from then on :sad:

Right so picked this up this evening:





Genuine Votex splitter :cool:

Got it flatted back earlier and i'll get it primered up tomorrow ready for paint on Weds :cool:



Also got a second rear badge which had been painted pretty poorly in the past so split that and sanded it down and cleaned it up, again ready for paint tomorrow :smiley:





(Pictures are pre-cleaning/sanding)
