It does indeed, i'm considering removing the golf & gti badges also.

I'll be ordering either a mk5 or polo rear wiper & a sharan badge to further tidy up the rear end...oh and a smaller aerial

I would say leave the badges on.

Thay look plain without them, following Richw's yesterday on the motorway got me thinking how much better they look with the badges on.

I did that on the mk3 and wished that I hadn't...such a PITA in the rain

Id deffo remove the chrome plastic lettering - looks much cleaner without

Yup, I agree. Always had hatchbacks except for my Saab. Hated it when it was raining and your trying to reverse out of a parking space. Scene points but not worth in imo due to being so impracticle.

That's what mirrors are for I am living without my rear wiper all ok.

Do you know what size grommet is needed to fill the hole? I'm gonna put the rear wiper back on the mk3 and if the grommet is the same then i'll dewiper the mk4
