Hi guys, right I bought one of these friday and got it yesterday morning. One of my mates said they were good and that he'd used them and still does use them in his and his wifes cars. They dont add 35bhp as stated but do change something about ur car.

Just wana know if anyone has used them and if they damage ur car in anyway? or are they alright?

Cheers, Craig.

You got a reason Rhyso? :P Would like to hear your problems with them? I notice when ive plugged it in the car shakes a little whilst IDLE but seems fine when driving. No significant increase in power but there is a little bit of difference.

All they do is trick your car into thinking its cold so increases the fuelling; a 25p resistor from Maplins does the same job; you've paid a lot of money for something in a box

A remap alters all the parameters so the car runs safely thus not not shortening the lifespan of your engine

Remember the motto - buy cheap, buy twice

Just to echo and get the point across dont put it back on your car. Waste of time and money and WILL not be doing your car any good.

They just add extra fuel % across the whole rpm range, some cause running issues and warm/cold start faults, some black smoke really bad which can cause soot build up due to not having any extra boost to burn it off or clean it up. Most folks are happy with them but there are many which are unhappy. Most dont make know where near the claims stated 30bhp+ ect.. :undecided:

remap tuning box night and day.
