better then nothing, was gunna say would be a shame to ruin all that work by gettin problems with the filler later on in life coz of absorbing water, should be alryt primed tho

Wrong...... Primer offers hardly any protection against water.  If the cars not covered get some red oxide on it.. Cover would be ideal though.

Yup it's porous, event a waft over with some top coat to seal it would be advisable.  You'll be flatting it back for the proper finish anyway.  I keep a big can of satin black handy just for this kind of stuff.

Just make sure its dry and wack some top coat on, the satin black idea is a good one. :afro:
