we have a mx-5 1.8 sport.. with hardtop and soft top and its great.. fantastic gearbox.. bullet proof engine.. great handling and driving experience.. sorry cant help with putting you off

I agree, i know a few people with mx5's and they all love em, bulletproof mechanicals and great fun to drive.
