Too many bigging them up, its not right! :angry:

By all means get an mx5 if;

1. You are homosexual hairdresser

2. You are currently going through a mid-life crisis

3. You are homosexual hairdresser

I know 1 + 3 are the same but its doubly true. No one envies a bloke who drives an mazda and they deffinately dont turn heads!  :grin:

I envy them when i see how quick they are on track, how much of a hoot they are to drive, and how cheap they are to buy run and mod.
Plus with very little done to them (nice wheels, little drop etc) i think they very quickly loose the hairdresser image.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Mx-5 threads are becoming so regular that I'm thinking about them too  :lipsrsealed: I pass a red one that's dropped slightly every day on the way to work and a black one that's stock at work. They look so damn good lowered, even only a small drop  :lipsrsealed:
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3
