the new mini is a class car to drive. i dont like all the variants they have created and they should have stopped at the cabrio. I would take a mini cooperS over any of the other superminis anyday.

as for the coupe... looks like some took a match box car and stood on it :undecided:

Not read most of this thread, but seems the NerdRage exploded.

I love how quick folk are to jump on the bandwagon that the new MINI is owned by BMW, as if foreign input to the car makes it any less cool.

Cause after all, the original was British all the way to it's roots... Alec Issigonis from Greece.

I'm foreign, so why would I care if the MINI was owned by a foreign company? I'm not jumping on any bandwagons other than the use of BINI, which I wasn't using it in a derogatory way and lots of people use it to make the distinction between the 'new MINI' and the pre-BMW Mini.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I really like the Mini Clubman to be honest. Especially lowered with textured arches

If they called it a BMW 1 or BMW hatch or something it'd be fine...

They have called it a mini ... it's not. They make "john cooper" models which he has nothing to do with, bit disrespectful

Nice cars, wrong name

His son does the upgrades.
