Dunno what you are all complaining about. I brought a bottle of the 70% stuff to bugjam one year, and quite happily drank half of it and walked around show with the others.

In fact I still have a little of it left.

Plus lighting it is dangerous. Two mates have flaming ones, but added a sugar cube in to the mix, so not only was it still on fire when they put their lips to it, the sugar was like lava as well, double funny for me.

Foolishly got my 85% proof out on my 21st. I had 6 shots along with other drink. That ruined my 21st and it stayed in my cupboard for another 5 years because I was too afraid to crack it open. :)

Used to drink this in Ibiza. The best i culd find for originality was Sebors http://www.seborabsinth.com/

Looks like its gone a bit commercial now looking at that site.
We used to light it and burn sugar in a spoon then stir it in and neck it.
As the alcohol burns clear, you cant see if you have blown it out or not so try not to set fire to your hat/face like my mate did

Why burn off perfectly good alcohol?

I didnt explain myself properly sorry
You dip a sugarcube in some Absinthe and light it.Then when the alcohol has burned off you dump it in the glass and drink.

Yeah tastes of aniseed, is extremely potent, banned in many countries, is hallucinagenic, and gives you long term amnesia. I cannot confirm any of the above though, as I was too pissed to remember any of it.

We had a college trip to prague with business studies.

Once back they vowed never to run a trip to eastern europe again.

Without too many details one guy was on the roof 5 storeys up going on about being spiderman and another left green sick everywhere.

We also got to go to the skoda factory it was very boring.

Project longterm Airbanger.
