Fitting a DAB roof aerial
« on: 15 June 2011, 19:47 »
Tried fitting my DAB radio and aerial today, took it out the box and found the aerial has a seperate wire for the 12v connection. I read something about the mk3 aerial wire having the 12v incorporated into the signal wire, is this right? Can I use one of those seperation plugs to seperate the 12v from the signal wire or should I run the 12v from behind the headunit to the mast?

Everything else is all set up I have normal radio reception just need to get the 12v connected to power the dab feed

Cheers
20vt conversion, sig pic coming soon!

Run it off the electrical aerial feed or if your standard aerial has an amp use that, red wire from memory.
