I get approx 45 (ish) around town in the Skoda and that's with a bootful of tools.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

I get 42 from my 1.8T.

Dunno what I get tbh. Can push 40 (worked out) in the 1.6 if I drive slow as hell everywhere and 62MPH on the motorway.

I reckon I will get more out of a 2l with all the motorway miles I do.

plus can you not use vegetable fat in a diesel? How much is second hand vegetable oil these days?

just so glad i get a works van these days.. spend there money not mine, mines just for play time  :laugh:

Poor lad at work got himself a mazda rx8 and gets about 15MPG makes my 35 look huge  :shocked:

Smelling like a chippy could ve bad for my waistline as I'd fancy getting chips everytime I use the car

50mpg most days. Bad days its like 40mpg with heavy foot. Diesel yeah.
