Swings and roundabouts, petrol/diesel it's all well over priced.

They can charge £5 a ltr if they wanted so long as my wages went up inline with that I wouldn't care. It's the realative cost that gets me. A larger and larger proportion of my earnings is going on fuel, leaving less and less for frivolous stuff like food, rent and electricity.

me to i reckon i get about 35mpg in my derv  i dont do any motorway driving is all country roads and A roads plus i have a lead foot

i reckon i could squeeze 60+ out of a derv.

My average is around 35 too, most of my driving is too/from work on the A34/A4074 I might as well just get a petrol car that I can enjoy

i only get 300 odd to £70 in the golf!

€80 odd for 50-52ish litres. 55 litre tank IIRC.
