My Bridgestones have just been replaced at 9,000 miles - mind you I do spirited driving on country roads!

 I drive like a granny 90% of the time but I make up for it the other 10%

So how many miles did your Bridgestones do Doc?

Mine are Bridgestones and mine are quite enough.

Sorry Keith "quite enough"?

11500 miles ish mate

I have to admit my Bridgestones are on 18,000 and still have 3mm left/4mm right front and 7mm back too.  And thats VW measurements so probably have more than that.  They did quote me £160 a corner mind!!! How much where the goodyears?

£398 and some change for the 4

Bargain!!!!!

Hardcore bargaining!

Were £100 plus VAT per corner fitted, I reminded him how good his remap was and the price went to £83 a corner plus VAT fitted

I figured they have got to be good for 22K. My old mk5 140 GT TDI used to waste the Bridgestones in 12,000.  So I am surprised at these.  I have been doing some long motorway trips mind.

Doc: Glad you bought the Goodyears. Very low rolling resistance, excellent ride and very quiet too. My choice of tyre. Happy motoring and can't wait for your report.

Did you trash the old ones on your way home on Saturday

Should help knock a couple of tenths off that 0-60 time

They were just sh1te, still had 4.3 mm on the fronts, rears were on 7mm orrible plastic tyres

(I bet your p1ssing your pants for Wednesday morning following that drive - sorry for the delay )

I obviously didn't give it enough stick

No need to apologise
