i have never drove a DSG car before, can it be put in full auto or do the paddles have to be used???
i like your choice of wheel colour, goes nicely with the red. i was originally looking for metallic black but the red has grown on me.
its strange, in the mk4 i preferred the 3 door, so sold the 5 door gti turbo i had and bought a 3 door gti turbo, they were both black, so i think i am due a change of colour in a golf.
I much prefer my black gloss detroit alloys I acquired then the poorer pescara alloys that came on the edition 30.
You can put the car in D and it will do all changes even when pulling up to a standstill .
I drive mine in full manual, push lever across from D, so you can have full control, and much more fun on the paddles

S or sport, just for wanting to go hooning and holds the revs for you so when you mash the throttle, your off lol
It's a superb gearbox, and I will never choose a manual over it.
