I always feel the steering is a tiny touch heavier in Normal than Comfort. Maybe it is an illusion due to the stiffer suspension setting.

Thanks guys,

Mine is indeed stiffer in sport. I just though it was much heavier at crawling speed. It seems it's more progressive with speed.
The steering wheel I use to play NFS 2 is much heavier to start with  :grin:
Golf GTI VI DSG - died on the road, resurrected, came back as zombi, sold
R - rising blue, 5-door, DSG, ACC, something something...

I've tried to have another go at adjusting the weight of the steering through VCDS but still no joy  :sad:

To fully experience perfectly weighted power steering with just the right amount of feel, you need to try a good Mk2.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Yes, I've had a MK2 BMW 535d with active steering - it was magnificent  :grin:

My aim with the GTD is to get the same steering feel in Comfort and Normal mode that you get in Sport - wish me luck  :smiley:

True...but there are better.
An Integra Type-R for one...or a 911 for example.
It can be done quite easliy...

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

That's one hack I'd be very interested in.

It is not adjustable. In my case a VW-specialist, 2 VW dealers and VW-UK had a go and failed. The VAG-COM wont let you do it. It could be because it's a new-ish model and not all the codes have been released or simply that it cant't be adjusted.

I remember being told by everyone and their dogs that it was impossible to make OEM bi-xenons plug and play and that the shutters side of the xenons would never work without the original control units / wiring.....
