hi all coulple of days ago i noticed that my brake pedal went sponge but then went back to normal but since then it has happend alot more the brake pedal goes down alot nearly to the floor but after a quick pump of the pedal it goes back to normal but then i heard a squeky noise comeing from the back after i looked at the back it was comeing from the brake pressure regulater does anbody know whats up with it or has some one had the same fault thanks any advice would be much apprecieted dave

If the rear brake reg is at fault it should be leaking. Visually inspect the whole system from master cylinder to calipers including all the lines for signs of oil leaks. If you can't find any it may be the master cyl or associated seals. If not then its the servo, you can test this with engine off, pumping the pedal, within a few pumps it should go solid, and stay solid. When you start engine it should then go down.

also  when i put my foot on the brake pedal there is a squecky noise comeing from the regualtor when i press the pedal down

Could be a master cylinder problem.

Also check on the face of the servo you'll have a plastic vacuum pipe leading to the engine, make sure its not leaking air.
If not sounds like the rear may have a fluid leak hth
