Driver side window problem
« on: 04 June 2011, 20:07 »
The driver side window is stuck half way down therefore me not being able to use the car.
Have tried alsorts to get the electronics to move the window back up but nothing is working.
Any ideas and is this a common problem?

Take the door card off, undo the clamps for the window, and prop it up with a bit of wood. That will at least make it ok for the short term. After that, check voltage at the switch, the plug at the bottom of the mechanism, then at the motor. Very common problem, usually there is a problem with the mechanism. Can pick them up relatively cheaply on fleabay.
