« on: 01 June 2011, 11:05 »
My fuel gauge has started to do my head in. If I have over 1/4 of a tank its ok but bellow that and it seems to get stuck in the red then it takes ages wile driving for it toslowly creep up to the level it actuly is. It also sticks at 1/4 of a tank so I think iv got plenty and then it sudenly drops into the red.

Any ideas what's going on?

Could be a faulty sender but they are not the greatest idea.

Pull the lead off and earth it and see if the gauge goes up if it does then you have a sender problem.

Look in the boot towards the rear seat, you will see the cover etc.
