my speakers are rated at 105db, and id never play them that loud!

That's the sensitivity, not the db rating dude.

Whats the difference?

can't get much in a mk1 cab

^ Dont you believe it - I had 3 amps twin 8" tubes and 2 6" speakers in my cab's boot, plus another 6 speakers throughout the rest of the car! A bit of determination and you can get a good install into a cab.

My little tidy install. Mounted the MONO Alpine 800W amp on the side and hid the wires. Got the 12'' JBL 1000W sub in sealed box.





This thing is LOUD!!

I'm gonna try and mount 2 changers where you've got that amp Blue and cut a hinged door into my panel to access them to change the magazine.

i had my 10 disk changer there. the boot light is just under which helps
