See why I am confused 
water temp always at 70 and fans are ment to come on at 85/90+ 
So what should I be checking? what sends the temp to the dial?
Temp sender, nothing to do with the thermostat
However if it is running cold then you could have a air lock or thermostat problem.
Cool I'll check that next.
Just taking the Schmidt's off now to spray them
