Check brake pads warning light

i have just put some mud flaps on my car, but had to take each wheel off to be able to screw the flaps on, since putting the wheels back on , "check brake pads"  light keeps poppin up any ideas what will be causin this?

by the way, imanaged to get  a original set of mud flaps with white logos on the rear ones, for £20 on ebay, happy days!!

sounds like you knocked the wiring going into the brake pad; make sure the plug is plugged in

just took the wheels off , checked all wires, the pads are fine plenty on them, but the light is still on, its the circle light with lines around it and trip computer says "check brake pads" just seems abit of coinsidence that this light only started coming on after i removed the wheels

Check for continuity in the wires themselves; more often then not they chafe and come apart

Push the brake pedal a couple of times and see if it goes if not you may have a break in the wiring.
