Depends what you class as VW nutters. If you meen bodge merchants no theres not.
But i have been into VWs all my life and restored 3 mk1s of my own and built two mk1 16Vs for friends (using scirocco 16V manifolds so it was done correctly ) and know most things about them. People who know me seem to class me as a VW nutter but it often depresses me looking at some of the modified tat on other sections of this forum.

Yes but it really held on well. The new one just snapped into place.

I tried with my fingers pulling at each side at first but it was easier to use a Bojo tool to help it from the sides.
