Is it worth getting it drained!?

its not too much more. its by the top groove?

so you have the lower groove. then the marking in the middle and then the top groove, the oil is by the top groove.

What shall i do?

Wont do the cat any good.

What on the dipstick is max mark, is it the top kink?


Will i need a new sump plug when I drain it?

Yeah Its hasnt smoked yet and I have done about 150miles in it since.

Im not sure how much it has over filled from what you describe 

If it is only very slight it will be ok.

undo the oil filter and let some drain out

Random I know but you don't have a big syringe around do you?.... ok probs only me that does.... but you can push it into the dipstick tube and because its taped it seals and you can suck the oil straight out   Or a long tube and a small drill pump or something. Ether way you can use the dipstick tube as access.
