Johnny Vegas' Volcano Car.
« on: 27 May 2011, 11:21 »
Well, I was up with the Larks this morning as I had to take my Sister's kids to school.  So I made use of her massive TV and Sky, as you do.

"Chop Shop".   Couple of geezers from Laandan trying to make the fat one's dream car.  He wanted a MK2.  4wd and super fast.    So, as you do, you think Syncro/Rallye.  But oh no.

Of they pop to a scrap yard and pay £750 for a crushed Scooby.  Plan to stick engine and drivetrain onto standard 3 door Mk2.  Lots of chopping ensued.

Sadly I had to miss the final 20 minutes.

This is what they created.

IIRC he was actually a bit upset about how it turned out. Drives a mk5 R32 now
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

So did he actually say he wanted a mk2?? Cos apart from a random badge, that monstrosity bears f**k all resemblence to the original shell!
