Just curious... 1.8 20vT how powerful can you get it?

whats the stages you would go through on a 1.8 20vT to get it to the 250-260 bhp? would prices possibly in consideration?

Heres the answer I got when I asked this not long ago. I was asking for the AUM engine which is 150bhp standard with K03s turbo. Not sure about the AGU which is 180 standard but I guess its the same kinda stuff

The safe max I can push the AUM trubo is around 242bhp 275lbft by using a cylinder wetting strategy and dumping fuel in at the top end to keep componet temps down.  This mapping will see 1.4/1.5bar peak boost peak and needs to be ran on V-power fuel.

Cheaper, easier and better to get a different car completely that has the correct parts as standard. For example a Seat LCR or Audi S3. Its a lot of money to do it all plus the handling will never be good enough to justify that power.....
