I like the low look even if its not practical. All you need to do is pick a non speed bump route each trip sorted. And yes its maybe a bit twitchy around corners with pot holes nowadays but you gotta love it. looks tidy mate imo  dennis seems to have a knowledge of much variety on many topics including one of my recent ones

my gti splitter sits quite low, i can only just get my foot under it, not sure on the subframe - i'll try to get a pic.

It doesn't handle great but i like the look, but i still think it corners better than standard?

on a side note i hate that bloody feeling when you see a bump in the road or a pothole and your balls go straight up into your stomach just waiting for the CLANG! or SCRAPE!
