Galaxy S decided to pack up while I was on my hols, not good as I relied on the maps to get me there

All being fixed under warranty, pisser is I lost some photos I took of the kids as it wouldn't go past the boot up screen so wouldn't access the internal memory

Lesson learnt though, save EVERYTHING to the SD card (although I don't think you can do this with the iphone  :lipsrsealed:)

If they do and it's in warranty you don't have to wait for it to be sent away.....

Even if you smash the screen...They let that pass if you get a nice one.

Yes, you should have got an HTC, Samsung's build quality is dire.

For the price of an iphone vs others of similiar/better hardware, I bloody well hope they would ALWAYS replace the glass for free. However everyone I know that has broke the glass on their iphone has had to claim off insurance or replace the glass themselves as Apple wouldn't, and another friend whose iphone packed up and started calling people in the middle of the night, wouldn't sync and wouldn't charge had to send it off and wait for it to be repaired - she wasn't happy. The only reason you get 'better' service from Apple is because of the price tag and it's in their best interest to keep people happy. The other OEM's know you'll claim on insurance and don't have an ecosystem like Apple so don't need to keep people as happy as Apple does. It's the ergonomics of economics that Apple relies on. It's not you they care about, it's only your wallet they're interested in.

Best thing that happened today? Android won over my Applite father in law. WIN.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Mine has been sent off for repair, more than likely a software fault so it will be wiped and reinstalled.

TBH I prefer the android layout compared to the iphone

iphone is only better because itunes backs up the whole of the phone when you sync it to the computer. If your phone breaks you can get a new one and restore all your data back to the new phone.

Not sure if HTC has that kind of backup software
