iphone is only better because itunes backs up the whole of the phone when you sync it to the computer. If your phone breaks you can get a new one and restore all your data back to the new phone.

Not sure if HTC has that kind of backup software

lots of backup apps in the market to use

+1 Backup how ever much or little of the phone you want to your SD card then upload it to a cloud based storage solution (Dropbox etc) then reinstall/upgrade the OS off a file on the SD card and do a complete wipe then restore settings/apps using the backup app - or do an 'over the top' reinstall/upgrade and you don't loose your settings, HTC also has sync'ing software which does what most people want, however they haven't (stupidly?) made an OS X version.

You can use HTC Syncâ„¢ to synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar or Outlook Express contacts (Android & HTC Smart)and the bookmarks of web browser between your computer and your phone(Android). It also lets you install third-party Android applications on the phone, and bring your photos, videos, documents, songs, and playlists to your phone(Android).

iPhones are incredibaly fragile. I've know loads of people who've dropped theirs and shattered the screen.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

iPhone is the best built phone I've ever used.  Took 20 minutes to drown my last one ;)

That's not saying much compared to a new shabby build Samsung

My old Samsung was great, took so many batterings and even a drop kick on a night out :lipsrsealed: Still works now

i love my HTC hero, dropped a couple of times and still works fine, only issues are battery is dire (10hours from full to empty) and android 2.1 has slowed it almost to a crawl.
