It seems to me people who have or have used Rtech are a bit biased.

This remap isnt all or nothing, looking at the graph its very linear and actually gives a longer span of power all through the rev range compared to a standard car, its just what I am after and pretty much suits the car.
The problem is getting traction as it scrabbles a bit....or a lot if its damp. Really needs an LSD like my Type R EK9 had.
I am not after lowering or changing the car though, nor do I want to own the fastest Golf out there. I want it to look standard and be a lot of fun as its my third car

I had a Standard MR2 rev 3 turbo that was 245BHP when my brother had a 210bhp Leon Cupra R, the extra BHP never made me fly past him, yes i was faster but when you have that power you need a lot more to get much faster.
