Got up at 4:30 on Sunday.

F*cking memory card binned itself twice on the 500D, but this is what I got:

Second view was from my long lens on my parent's 350D.  I thought I had a second intervalometer, but the plug is different on the X00D series to the X0D series, so I had a remote shutter release and a sore thumb, after pressing the button every 2 seconds for a couple of sessions (before going to swear at the 500D).

I think it would be fair to say I actually missed the key few minutes. 

I was also finally allowed in to have a look at a second, rather special location which I should be using before very long.
