It's supposed to grow to the point it's picked in about 24 hours, which is why I was asked to shoot it. Can't help but feel that a dose of water might have helped things on their way.

On to bigger and better things - a local harbour has seen the clip of Cowes and wants their harbour shot. Anyone got any tips for super-budget motorised tripod heads?

Can't wait for Cowes week!

Ah I was expecting the asparagus to actually do something lol

I think you're looking at a DIY job, got any lego technic?

Just stuck up a topped and tailed version of the Cowes video: http://youtu.be/-JJ3rMMpLZY

and started prostituting it around.

Damn you Thomas! You got me interested in this now!

Hmmm that gPhoto doesn't support the Fujifilm S1600...  :undecided: Might give it a go to see if it will as it supports similar cameras, I'll use a bootable live Ubuntu ISO and if it works install the NTFS-3G driver to access my Windows Partitions to save the images.

If that doesn't works I might set-up my webcam pointing outside and use Microsoft's Timershot Powertoy

Love the harbour video. Such a great subject.

So what's the deal with the gphoto. Does it negate the need of a card in your camera and saves straight to hard drive?

Beautiful weather today, so I'm at it again.

Cowes again, but getting lots of timelapse footage with the TS-E 24mm, out on the roof of our office.

Sounds good to me. They look really good from 'just outside my office'  so the roof should give some nice results. As for the weather down where you are.... piss off

I said that having not left the house, just spent the last 2 hours on the jetty at the end of my garden listening to absolute classic rock on a massive bean bag in the roasting hot sun - no canal breeze haha
