and what sort of power would i be looking at with the Gen6 remap? whats the difference?

and is it better to come to you? would it be rolling roaded for best performance? or is it just a generic map for the aum engines?

Hello,
The R-Tech 1.8T gen6 remap will provide the AUM with upto 210bhp/235lbft with a very smooth and linear torque curve.

In the gen6 mapping you will get (100% unique to R-Tech remaps) (upon request the file can be tagged to hold your name address and post code which can be seen via vagcom)

1Direct-DBW linear throttle pedal mapping  which on its own merits transforms the feel of the car and make it safe to drive > http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=191480.0

2 Rapid shot RPM limiter with no power loss from the hysteresis mapping when comming upto the limiter (the car will pull strong and cut hard on the 7227rpm limiter, in the stock mapping the ecu starts to pull back prior to the limiter to give a 200rpm bounce rate and a very soft feel

3 Left foot brake without throttle plate cut

4 Refined Load based stratified fuel mapping  when you want the power and give the car beans the car will run a fuel ratio which is richer for best power,  but then part load driving under all conditions the car will run lambda 1, then to crusie speed point will runs leaner to give some really good MPG.

5 Raised ASR remap rate

A few other unique areas of mapping, to give the car a better feel, mainly down to throttle plate and up/down stream air ratios getting a bit complex now..

All Golf 1.8T can be mapped via OBD2 now?  MPPS or SPI wizard cover L-line mapping
