wash wipes stoped working

Hi as it says really took car for mot and the wash wiper as stoped working.Thought it was the pump but that workswhen connected to battery.plz help .

whats happening bud you press the washers and they dont wash the windows but youve tested the motor and it works?

yes mate was wipers and no water now no wipers or water on wash wipe mode lol

have you checked the fuse ? start with the fuses  if ok then multimeter on the wiper motor wires

the washer motor do you hear it  when you press the washer switch

The wipers work but not when you pull the stalk back to activate the wash wipe  only when you move it up to spedd 1 and speed 2

sounds like the contact has broken inside the switch

mine failed its MOT on this.. try cleaning the connection to the bottle.. bit of sandpaper to clean off the crap a bit did the trick
