Asker & VW kev like dirty rings , Try Autosol brilliant stuff
Hi all,I have been following the forum for some time and finally took hold of my GTi as the weekend. Alas, mortgage and kids forced me down the used route but I am more than happy. In my car gleaning regime I like to buff and polishe everything to keep it looking a1 but I am struggling to bring the chrome exhaust pipes back to their former shiny condition. Both have what seems like a carbon deposit film encrusted on them so they essentially appear black. No amount of scrubbing or reasonable application of chrome cleaner\brasso is shifting it. I would appreciate if any of you folks have found the same issue or can recommend some sort of off the shelf cutting agent to address.CheersLeebtw, 59plate 5dr in Carbon grey, 18"monzas, RNS510, ACC, Parking, Sunroof, leather, Fiscon phone
