So you've been told you need a new one but have you been told why? Dealers are always keen to replace rather than fix.
I'd try freeing it up and checking the discs and pads first.
Well the n/s front is reading 35% lower than the drivers side, discs and pads are fine (new less than 4k ago), they have also checked the discs with a dial gauge, all hoses are ok, sliders have been cleaned and lubricated, system has been bled twice yet it still has the fault.
So as a last resort they suspect the caliper is sticking / not working as it should
