You just know there had to be a least one over or missing, standard procedure really.

How many screws do you have left over?

1 is all we had left, just a standard looking screw but nothing rattles so not going to worry about it, all is working ok which is the main thing.

Thanks, it was hard work but was worth the savings

Nice one mate.

Had to do a Polo one three weeks ago and a MK4 two weeks ago just before going away.

I get all the sh!te nobody else want's to do. As you say, not a hard job but just so long.

Managed to crack mine through in a day. MK4 had two screws left and the Polo I needed one more.  :undecided:

Where all my moneys went.

So whilst the car was apart last week, I took the chance to modify the center console so that the radio would fit in the bottom slot, this then allowed me the chance to put my extra gauges in.

Oil temp is not working yet as we need to fit the sensor but very pleased to have sorted it.

Small update, AC all now regassed and working great, have done just over 100 miles since the matrix replacement and all is ok at the moment, matrix stinks to high heaven if you get it hot however I guess that will burn off in time.

Yes they are all Stack gauges, more expensive than ebay gauges but a lot better quality, matrix was a ballache but all ok now.
